Yo everybody.
I'm here on dA to share my work, be that drawing, writing or photography, learn and improve and be part of the community. I want to make new friends here. Seen soooo many talented artists but sometimes it's hard to strike up a conversation! I'm not the social butterfly I once was so you might have to bare with me a while. I'll be stalking the forums from now on so - randomers - prepare to be glomped.

I'm a MAHOOSIVE anime/manga fan. I have a ridiculous collection and I bloody love almost everything Japanese! I'm not a big fan of sea food tho, that's my Otaku failing. Well, that and I don't like Akira. *somewhere an Otaku chokes on their ramen* But it was my first real obsession and I started drawing it when I was about 12, and did it on and off until I was about 15/16 when I really settled down and started doing it seriously. Let me tell you, anatomy is still way off. No fair! I've been at it for years, man! But I'm determined to improve and maybe even stray down the path of animation.

After my anxiety became unbearable towards the end of the year 2008, I left school I needed something to occupy my time and keep me going. In January 09 I decided I was going to try and write an actual story. Which was my vampire romance: LoveBites. God, I cringe when I read the early chapters now, but that's good in a way as I can see just how much I've improved. It was my reaction to Twilight, a book/movie/franchise I completely despise.

But it all worked out great because if my anxiety hadn't of became so bad I probably never would have found a new passion in writing. Now I've got up to 12 novels planned. It's very daunting and exciting!

My photography is really just portraits of my mug. haha. Tho whenever there's a nice sunset or sunrise (since I'm nocturnal) I'll try to snap away! There is so much I want to photograph. The eyes of Notre Dame, New York City in winter, the redwoods of Yosemite. Too much, in what feels like too little time. I have to conquer my anxiety first. haha. Right now I can only make it to the little shop just down the road...


I may not be much now but, keep your eyes on me. Who knows what'll happen in the future. Us artists are a stubborn lot.
I don't want to be forgotten. My lines and my words aren't just for my memory, they hold someone else's mark too. Leaving me all the work again, eh, Kura?
